From March 25 to 27, 2026, CNC INVEST hosted an Easter celebration that beautifully intertwined traditional Czech culture with modern corporate practices. The event transformed the company's facilities into a spring-themed venue adorned with elements of folklore, including decorated eggs and fresh flowers, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for employees and guests alike.
Attendees enjoyed a variety of traditional Easter dishes, such as mazanec and Easter lamb, alongside contemporary culinary variations that reflect current gastronomic trends. This blend of old and new not only satisfied diverse palates but also fostered a sense of community among participants.
The event featured live machining demonstrations on Citizen Cincom and Citizen Miyano machines, showcasing advancements in manufacturing technology. A panel discussion included industry experts and representatives from partner companies, addressing critical topics related to the procurement of machinery for production firms and educational institutions. Notable speakers included Doc. Ing. Pavel Zeman, Ph.D. from the Czech Technical University in Prague, and Ing. Bc. Petr Bannert, Ph.D. from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic.
Moderated by Ing. Roman Dvořák, the discussion highlighted the importance of preparing the next generation of engineers to adopt modern manufacturing technologies. CNC INVEST has been proactive in this area, collaborating with educational institutions from high schools to universities, as evidenced by their involvement in the upcoming WORLD OF MACHINING exhibition scheduled for September 8-10, 2026, in Kroměříž.
In addition to the professional focus, the Easter event also included a tour of the Small Hydroelectric Power Plant in Miřejovice, further enriching the experience for all attendees. The success of this event demonstrated that corporate environments can embrace both technology and tradition, fostering meaningful connections among participants.
According to attendees, the event was a resounding success, infusing positive energy and reminding everyone of the significance of folkloric traditions in today's often overly technological world. Petra Zemanová, the Sales Director of CNC INVEST, expressed hopes for similar success at the upcoming WORLD OF MACHINING exhibition.
