In 2026, EMT-Systems proudly marks its 20th anniversary, a significant milestone that reflects two decades of commitment to technical education and industry development in Poland and Europe.
Founded in 2006 in Gliwice, EMT-Systems emerged from a successful bid in the "My Small Business" competition, supported by the Technopark Gliwice. From its inception, the company has focused on practical training for engineering and technical personnel. Under the leadership of Dr. Grzegorz Wszołek, EMT-Systems quickly established a strong position in response to the growing demand for highly qualified specialists.
Starting with a single laboratory and training in pneumatic systems, EMT-Systems has expanded its offerings to include 220 diverse technical training programs and 45 training labs equipped with advanced technology. By 2019, the company had established 25 laboratories and collaborated with 70 trainers, providing training to over 50,000 individuals.
Today, EMT-Systems stands as the largest technical training center in Poland, having trained over 100,000 individuals who now work in industrial facilities across the country and beyond. For many participants, these courses have been pivotal in their careers, enabling them to change career paths, enhance their skills, or advance to more technical positions.
The scope of EMT-Systems' activities has been broad and continuously evolving, offering training in key areas of modern industry, including automation, robotics, maintenance, mechatronics, mechanics, industrial IT, design, and quality management. This comprehensive approach allows companies to develop their teams' competencies, building a competitive edge in a rapidly changing technological environment.
A significant moment in the company's history was its relocation in January 2020 to a beautifully restored building at the Gliwice Mine, creating one of the most modern training centers in Central Europe. This new space has opened up opportunities for further development, allowing for the expansion of laboratories and the scale of operations.
EMT-Systems has consistently invested in modern laboratories, collaborating with global technology partners. Notably, they have worked with Siemens to equip labs with the latest controllers and operator panels, facilitating advanced training in control systems and visualization. Siemens has recognized EMT-Systems as a key educational partner in the Central and Eastern European region.
In early 2026, new training programs commenced in partnership with OMRON, focusing on both basic and advanced levels of their controllers. Additionally, training in composite technologies for the aerospace industry has been launched, alongside a new course in ultrasonic machine diagnostics aimed at enhancing safety and reducing failure rates.
EMT-Systems also actively collaborates with academic institutions, offering postgraduate studies in automation, robotics, and digitalization of production processes in partnership with Silesian University of Technology. This educational program covers PLC controllers, industrial robots, SCADA systems, Industry 4.0 digital transformation, and cybersecurity, equipping participants with comprehensive competencies to meet modern economic demands.
Beyond training, EMT-Systems engages in social and educational initiatives, supporting young people and collaborating with schools and universities. Their EMT KIDS program fosters technical interests among children and youth. Since 2013, the company has organized thematic free conferences, EMT-Tour, providing opportunities to expand knowledge and connect with specialists and technology providers.
As EMT-Systems reflects on its 20 years of achievements, it looks forward to the future with ongoing investments in infrastructure and expert teams. The dynamic technological changes and the growth of automation and digitization in industry indicate that the demand for high-quality training will continue to rise. To celebrate this anniversary, EMT-Systems is offering a special promotion: a 20% discount on 20 selected training programs over the next 20 weeks.
The story of EMT-Systems illustrates that success in the training industry is not coincidental but the result of a long-term strategy, consistency, and adaptability to changing market realities. Above all, it is a story of people—a team that has built an organization based on knowledge, passion, and commitment over the past two decades. Today, EMT-Systems is not just a training center but also a vital partner for industry, contributing to the development of competencies and enhancing the innovation of the economy.
