SMS Group has recently added a third machine from FERMAT Machinery to its operations, furthering their collaboration in the CNC machinery sector.
The new addition, a FERMAT WFT 13 R, features an automatic cross-wise palette changer, which is intended to improve operational efficiency by facilitating smooth transitions between various machining tasks.
Moreover, the WFT 13 R is equipped with a right-angle OMG milling head and two FERMAT UHAmi SDHS milling heads, offering versatility for a range of machining applications. A Pre-delivery Inspection was conducted at FERMAT's facility in Brno to ensure the machine meets the required standards.
This acquisition enhances SMS Group's manufacturing capabilities and underscores the ongoing partnership between the two companies.
