Fatek Polska has introduced a tea packaging machine that integrates Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) technologies, designed specifically for packaging triangular tea bags. This machine provides both flexibility and precision in the production process.

The machine accommodates three packaging types: triangular bags, external packaging, and a combined mode that utilizes both options. This versatility allows manufacturers to efficiently meet diverse customer requirements.

Key features include an independent weighing system activated by an operational signal for accurate dosing. A rotary servo mechanism is responsible for forming the triangular bags, while ultrasonic technology is used for horizontal and vertical sealing, as well as cutting. Additionally, the machine can handle external packaging options such as vacuum sealing and nitrogen flushing, which help preserve the quality of the tea.

In terms of production efficiency, the machine achieves impressive output rates: up to 75 triangular bags per minute, 40 external packages per minute, and 28 combined packages per minute. These capabilities are essential for high-volume production environments.

Central to the machine's operation is a modern automation system, featuring the Fatek P5 series HMI panel and the B1 series PLC. The HMI panel allows for process visualization, parameter configuration, and diagnostics, which simplifies operation and reduces setup times. The PLC manages the machine's logic and controls the Fatek SC3 servo drives and stepper motors, ensuring high dosing accuracy and process stability.

The integration of HMI and PLC technologies enhances operational flexibility and ensures a dosing precision of ±0.2 grams, which is crucial for maintaining product quality and consistency.

This machine represents a notable advancement in automation technology for manufacturers aiming to enhance their tea packaging processes.
