The EuroSkills 2025 competition, held in Herning, Denmark, from September 9 to 13, highlighted the talents of young professionals from across Europe. Team Germany excelled, winning a total of 22 medals, including a silver in CNC milling awarded to Carina Bühler from Röchling Industrial.

Carina's success is a testament to the rigorous preparation she received from Herbert Mattes, the national coach and education manager at the CHIRON Group. Since 2007, Mattes has been dedicated to training young talents in CNC milling, focusing on the critical attributes of concentration, endurance, and precision necessary for success in this competitive arena.

EuroSkills 2025 featured around 600 participants from 32 countries competing in 38 disciplines, with over 100,000 spectators attending the events. This vibrant atmosphere underscores the importance of vocational training in shaping the future workforce.

The CHIRON Group has a longstanding commitment to fostering young talent, extending beyond its apprenticeship programs to support initiatives like WorldSkills Germany e. V. The company provides essential infrastructure and expertise, supported by a strong coaching team that includes Mattes and Steffen Sigrist. Cornelia Braun, Senior Vice President Global Human Resources at CHIRON, remarked, "Vocational competitions such as EuroSkills highlight the potential of dual training, which is why we consistently invest in high-level training."

In addition to their achievements at EuroSkills, the CHIRON Group also celebrated success at the German CNC milling championship, where Nico Bosch was crowned champion and Niklas Steinhauser finished as runner-up. Both are now preparing for WorldSkills 2026 in Shanghai and EuroSkills 2027 in Düsseldorf.

The German team's participation in the European Championships is supported by the German Confederation of Skilled Crafts and two federal ministries, providing a platform for showcasing top vocational training performances across Europe.

Carina Bühler's achievement not only reflects her dedication but also serves as an inspiration for young women considering careers in technical fields. The CHIRON Group's ongoing efforts to promote such talent demonstrate a broader commitment to the future of the CNC industry.
