Beginning in July 2025, all VOLTER CNC routers will feature an upgraded BrushFoot designed to improve operational efficiency. This enhancement allows users to adjust the brush position according to the thickness of the material being processed, which is particularly beneficial for those using automatic tool changers with varying tool lengths.
The BrushFoot maintains its position relative to the material surface, ensuring effective chip removal and contributing to a cleaner working environment and improved machining accuracy. This system is managed through the machine’s controller and operates using pneumatic cylinders for lifting and lowering the brush.
Operators can choose to control the BrushFoot manually via the control panel or activate an automatic mode. In this mode, the brush lowers when the spindle starts and raises when it stops, facilitating a more streamlined workflow.
With its redesigned features, the new BrushFoot significantly enhances chip collection efficiency during the processing of materials such as aluminum, wood, plastics, and composite panels, making it a noteworthy addition to VOLTER's CNC router offerings.
